About Dig Dug
Dig Dug is the 1982 Namco arcade game where you tunnel through layers of dirt to clear out underground monsters. Pookas wander the tunnels, and Fygars, the green dragons, breathe fire across the screen. Monsters can also turn into ghostly eyes and float straight through solid dirt.
How to play: dig paths, then pump enemies full of air until they pop. For bigger points, dig under a rock and let it fall on one or more monsters. Enemies deeper in the ground are worth more.
Controls: Arrow keys or WASD move and dig. Space or Ctrl works the pump. Enter or 1 starts the game. P pauses and M mutes. Touch controls are available on phones and tablets.
